- tries to find as many ways as possible to improve the environment and biodiversity.
- promotes and supports nature restoration in our village to help wildlife thrive.
- plants trees
- helps to maintain the Community Woodland at North Curry’s White Street Sports Ground
- shares interesting wildlife sightings at the Community Woodland and other areas around the village
- promotes renewable energy to help fight climate change
- makes apple juice from some of the surplus fruit in the area; this is sold under the Fruits of Athelney label in North Curry Post Office & Stores, in Stoke St Gregory Village Shop and through the North Curry Community Coffee Shop
- hires out the equipment to anyone who wishes to make their own juice
- organises apple pressing days for people with fewer apples to come together
