SOME DATES FOR YOUR DIARY
Thursday 2nd June: 7:00pm Beacon Lighting Party in our Big Tent on the hill.
All profits towards the Parish Church Jubilee Bell.
To make this as accessible a s possible for all Parishioners, there will be a tractor taxi departing from Queen Square every 30mins to the site via Overlands Lane from 6:30 – 8:30pm and offering a return service from 10:00pm. We would ask those coming on foot to use the footpaths leaving the Overlands Lane for the tractor. Torches are advisable as is suitable footwear and clothing.
CASH Bar – Beer, Cider, Lager, Wine & soft drinks.
BBQ – Beltie beef burgers, hot dogs & vegan burgers.
Live music. There will be a Big Tent & Toilets.
We respectfully ask all coming to only consume food and drink bought at the event.
9:45pm Official lighting of Beacon.
Friday 3rd June: Church Service of Thanks Giving. (Time to be confirmed)
Saturday 4th June: A day for friends and family to celebrate.
Sunday 5th June: Big Jubilee Lunch
12 noon onwards at Greenway Playing Field, Pavilion End.
Bring your own tables, chairs, gazebos, bunting, food and drinks and other decorations but not dogs as they are not permitted on the playing field.
There will be a prize for the best dressed table and a competition for the best U12 Crown AND over 12 Crown.
There will be live music and children’s entertainments.
Please come prepared to take away all your rubbish and recycling. No disposable BBQs please.
